- Understand the qualities of frac sand and the unique role it plays in the oil and gas industry
- Differentiate between pneumatic and container systems and know how those differences affect the role of a sand hauler
- Understand the importance of journey management and how it impacts the safety of the driver, their assets, and the world around them
- Navigate the many facilities involved in sand hauling using proper etiquette
- Prepare and inspect all equipment with safety as the central focus
- Mitigate internal driving risks, including wide turns and high COG, by practicing safe driving techniques
- Mitigate external driving risks, including road conditions and night driving, by practicing safe driving techniques
- Prevent personal injury by following safety procedures
