• Know the basic legislation and regulations that govern TRIO Programs
• Understand performance reporting requirements and how to adhere to them
• Implement internal controls and financial management using OMB circulars
• Provide accurate student and project data to reporting body
• Apply recordkeeping best practices to prevent and resolve federal audits
• Improve staff performance and project outcomes through the use of summative and formative techniques
• Effectively collect, organize, record, and analyze data to meet project objectives
• Manage and operate programs that are informed by the legislative and regulatory requirements governing TRIO
• Complete a final action plan
