Foundations in Research Skills
Issued by
University of Colorado Boulder
The Foundations in Research Skills micro-credential verifies the specific research skills accomplished during the RECCS undergraduate summer research experience. RECCS participants conduct field- or lab-based independent research over a nine-week period while working with a team of scientists. Students are matched with mentors and work in labs. They learn basic research, writing, and communication skills, and present research at a student science symposium.
