Earning Criteria

Examine in-person or remote learning experiences and interactions (e.g., educational materials, learning events or activities, service area websites) from a UDL perspective and identify best practices and areas for improvement.

Apply UDL guiding principles to learning experiences and interactions and make recommendations to better meet the needs of diverse learners.

Create a personal UDL action plan with immediate, short-term, and long-term objectives and strategies to continue developing proficiency and experience in UDL beyond course completion.

The UDL Guidelines are a tool used in the implementation of Universal Design for Learning, a framework to improve and optimize teaching and learning for all people based on scientific insights into how humans learn.
