The OER Re-User badge is the first of three levels towards earning the Open Educational Resource (OER) credential. It represents the ability to apply the first and second of the five R's (Retain, Reuse, Revise, Remix, Redistribute): Retain and Reuse. Earners of this badge have demonstrated competency in articulating rationale for using OER, locating and evaluating OER, pinpointing areas of a course where OER content could be used most effectively, and diversifying OER content for those purposes.
