The Kempe Center was the first of its kind, established in 1972 to better understand and prevent child maltreatment and to serve affected children and their families. For the past 50 years, Kempe has promoted understanding, knowledge, and best practices to prevent and treat child abuse and neglect globally. Under the Kempe Microcredentials program, this badge will issue to the learners who complete the Kempe professional training in justice, equity, diversity & inclusion (JEDI).

Join our partner at the Kempe Foundation on Facebook Live! Celebrate the Black History Month and listen to the interview with Kempe JEDI Director, Michelle Davis, to discuss Kempe’s JEDI initiatives and some of the longer-term goals.

Participate the Critical Race Theory Training with Dr. Nicholas Grier and team (Virtual) on 3/16 from 8 am - 3 pm.

Apply your JEDI learning with one of the Kempe JEDI Affinity groups at the Kempe retreat in April, and submit your reflection paper after the event.
