OER Steering Team Badge

This badge, issued by the CU System Office of Academic Affairs, recognizes the sustained efforts of members of the Open CU Steering Team. Members have written and managed grants (including faculty stipends), created and taught multiple instructor workshops, presented at local and national conferences, and engaged in monthly strategic and logistical discussions to use a collective impact approach to increase the use of OER across CU's four campuses.

Earning Criteria

  • The recipient of this badge will have successfully assisted in the writing of OER grants, managed campus OER grant funds, designed and implemented educator workshops, presented on OER at one or more conferences or workshops, advocated for OER with campus leadership, engaged in bi-monthly Open CU Steering Team meetings, and used a collective impact approach to further OER on CU's campuses.
