Earning Criteria

• Is a current member of Sigma Iota Epsilon - Sigma Zeta Chapter in good standing.
• Leads strategic projects for the Chapter as delegated by the faculty advisor and/or chapter president.
• Is completely familiar with all strategic and annual chapter goals and activities, as well as the SIE Constitution and Bylaws. Maintains relationships with the SIE National Office, the host institution, and other organizations.
• Mentors all incoming officers and ensures the success of SIE Vice Presidents goals throughout each term.
• Participates in strategic meetings with chapter president and faculty advisor in the creation of policy changes, chapter's mission and goals, and ensures chapter remains within scope of its constitution to provide beneficial opportunities to members.
• Ensures chapter goals are met and executed effectively. The First Vice President is responsible for the successful completion of networking, professional and career development opportunities, and the promotion of SIE to gain new members.
• Participates in the initiation of new members at SIE Sigma Zeta initiation ceremonies.
