The Chapter Vice President of Alumni Relations is responsible for handling outgoing communication and promoting engagement and continuous relationships with the Chapter Alumni. In this role the VP of Alumni Relations reaches out to SIE Alumni to find speakers for events, prospective committee volunteers, and candidates for various SIE Sigma Zeta events. The VP of Alumni Relations will work closely with the Outward Message Team and chapter President.

Is a current member of Sigma Iota Epsilon - Sigma Zeta Chapter in good standing.

Finds speakers and volunteers for SIE events, including but not limited to Keynote Speaker, Distinguished Alumni, and Mentorship opportunities primarily, but not limited to, LinkedIn and Sigma Zeta LinkedIn Group.

Is the primary point of contact between alumni and current officers. Coordinates introductions, manages all communications with alumni, and ensures alumni are prepared for speaking engagements, workshop, alumni highlights, and events.

Mentors and trains incoming VP of Alumni Relations in role responsibilities to ensure role continuity.

Manages the onboarding for alumni reengagement with chapter for speaking engagements, workshops, Alumni Spotlights, and events.

Responsible for the management of the Sigma Iota Epsilon - Sigma Zeta Chapter LinkedIn Group. This includes admitting new members, coordinating any communications from chapter officers on group to ensure continuous flow of information to members, and posting of upcoming events and Alumni Spotlight.

Works with VP of Marketing and Communications to gather required materials to promote upcoming events, Alumni Spotlights, and posts to send out on LinkedIn.

Participates in the initiation of new members at SIE Sigma Zeta initiation ceremonies.

Creates surveys and questionnaires to collect membership data and preferences when needed.
