Consultant Pharmacist Certificate Program

This credential recognizes successful completion of the Consultant Pharmacist Certificate Program for initial licensure. The 20.0 hour program is approved by the Florida Board of Pharmacy Tripartite Continuing Education Committee for consultant licensure. Program topics include interprofessional collaboration, regulatory compliance, facility medication utilization trends and appropriate medication storage, medication regimen review, and appropriate testing for treatment of specific conditions.

Earning Criteria

In order to earn credit for this course, participants must complete/submit all course quizzes and achieve an overall grade of 70% or higher. Upon successful completion of all coursework, participants must complete a course evaluation form. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion which may be used to apply for initial consultant licensure with the Florida Board of Pharmacy.
Standards
This 20.0 hour program is approved for Consultant Pharmacist licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy Tripartite Continuing Education Committee which is based on the Statement of the Competencies Required in Institutional Pharmacy Practice and subject matter set forth in Rule 64B16-26.301, F.A.C.
