Holders of a Certificate in Border Trade and Transport Security will be equipped with professional competencies to assess different types of trade agreements implemented between the U.S. government and its partners. They will be able to monitor and control the inbound and outbound flows of passengers and cargo; evaluate the concepts of free trade vs. protectionism, or open vs. closed borders. They will become familiar with the U.S. customs, taxes, and tariffs protocols.
