Recipients of this badge have demonstrated the ability to prepare a three-minute summary of their dissertation and explain the significance and implications of their research to a non-specialist audience. They are able to select a visual that represents their summary and present their research to a live audience within their own college and to a panel of judges who are not experts in their research.
