Earner applied for and received a grant of $1000 - $5000 based on their prototype, their prototype’s impact locally and globally, and their plan to incorporate customer interviews into the development process. Earner has a fundamental understanding of customer discovery, customer interviewing, user-centric design, pitching, and prototyping with customer needs and feedback in mind. Earner has also participated in workshops focused on improving the above skills and a prototype presentation.
Earning Criteria

Submit minimum viable prototype and customer discovery proposal and be accepted by committee for grant of $1000 - $5000.

Attend four workshops focused on prototyping, stakeholder input/customer discovery, user experience, and pitching

Regularly meet with faculty advisors throughout semester. Conduct multiple voice of customer interviews and adjust development process based on responses. Showcase prototype at University of Minnesota’s Founders Day.
