In an online 7-week Bootcamp, learners are introduced to principles of good practice in online learning & strategies for fostering community, communication & connection. Learners move from theory to practice by exploring frameworks for inquiry & engagement when designing the learner experience. Learners engage in practices within an online learning community & gain practice using a variety of multimedia applications to foster cognitive presence, social presence, & teaching presence online.

At the end of this 7-Week Online Summer Bootcamp, Gold Badge Earners are able to: Discuss theories, models, and frameworks for designing and facilitating online learning. Design engaging learning experiences that foster cognitive and social presence. Integrate a variety of multimedia applications for differentiated learning experiences. Use emerging technologies to create media for teaching and learning online.
