Earners have applied their knowledge to further pursue their academic and occupational interests and have taken courses at UNH that align with their academic and occupational goals directly (i.e., courses related to their career interests) or indirectly (i.e., transferable occupational skills gained via coursework or other learning experiences).

Earning Criteria

Audit 11 credits per semester for 4 consecutive semesters, over 2 years unless otherwise approved by UNH-4U. This includes credits in general education/knowledge and credits in the student's chosen are of academic or occupational interest. Complete HHS 400B: Academic Success & Well-Being (4 semesters). Have class attendance and participation rates of at least 80% for all enrolled courses. Audited courses must be completed with a grade of "AU".

Attend 80% of scheduled academic coaching sessions. Consult Student Accessibility Services annually to plan for accessibility and accommodation needs in the classroom. Attend documented academic development experiences on campus, including (1) Experiences focused on academic development (e.g., attend office hours, visit the writing center) and (2) Experiences specific to learning objectives found in their person-centered plans (e.g., experiential learning specific to the students' interests).

Earners must develop and complete: (1) Person-Centered Plan (2) Academic Program of Study in the student's selected area of academic/career interest.
