Earners will demonstrate knowledge in identifying career interests through exploration, applied learning experiences, and engagement in job search preparation (resume development, networking, interviewing). Earners have pursued individualized career goals as identified in their Person-Centered Plan through a variety of academic, social, and community experiences at UNH.

Earning Criteria

Audit 11 credits per semester for 4 consecutive semesters, over 2 years unless approved by UNH-4U. This includes credits in general education / general knowledge and in the student’s chosen area of academic or occupational interest. Complete HHS 400 A: Career and Professional Seminar (4 semesters). Have class attendance and participation rates of at least 80 percent for all enrolled courses. Audited classes must be completed with a grade of "AU".

Earners must attend a minimum of 4 documented career development experiences on campus. This includes: (1) Experiences focused on overall development of job discovery and career-seeking skills (e.g., attending career fairs, mock interviews, etc.) (2) Experiential learning specific to the badge-earner's chosen area of occupational interest (e.g., internship, practicum) (3) Attended at least one career fair or employer event each academic year.
