The badge earner has demonstrated knowledge of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) standards and regulations, as well as the technical and applied aspects of utilizing drones as a tool for collecting geospatial data. This includes principles and concepts of crew resource management (CRM), flight plan design, aerial data collection, processing collected aerial images to derive useful geospatial information.
