• Locate and use the Blackboard Ally tool to determine the accessibility of your course resources
• Identify and use Alternative Formats to access different formats for common documents
• Identify the importance and common problems of headings and the role they play in making documents accessible
• Assess headings in Blackboard, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint; Modify as needed.
• Identify the importance and common problems of using ordered and unordered lists and the role they play in making documents accessible
• Assess ordered and unordered lists in Blackboard, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint; Modify as needed
• Identify the importance and common problems of alternative text and the role it plays in making documents accessible
• Assess alternative text in Blackboard, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and for complex images; Modify as needed.
• Identify the importance and common problems of table header rows and the role they play in making documents accessible
• Assess table header rows in Blackboard, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint; Modify as needed.
• Identify the importance and common problems of captions and the role they play in making video accessible
• Assess captions in YuJa, and modify as needed.
