Attend a 90 minute workshop led by Dr. Katie Linder on the concept of High-Impact Educational Practices (HIPs) in face-to-face and the transition to the online environment.

Describe the process of creating a HIP implementation action plan that is applicable in face-to-face, blended/hybrid, and online classrooms.

Review the state of the research for HIPs and discuss tips and strategies for incorporating various HIPs across modalities.

Create an actionable plan for implementing one or more HIPs into a modality of choice (face-to-face, blended/hybrid or online). Plan includes; *clear sense of how the chosen HIP(s) connects with disciplinary learning goals, *specific learning objectives for the HIP(s), *an assignment idea related to the HIP(s) implementation, and *an assessment plan to measure the success of the HIP(s) implementation and impact on student learning.
