Early Founders Program

The UNI John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center Early Founders Program is an eight-week program with a focus on solidifying student entrepreneurs' business model by identifying the riskiest assumption and creating tests to validate those assumptions with customers. The Early Founders participants formed a solid connection through mentor meetings, CEO Roundtables, Mastermind Sessions, and weekly workshops.

Earning Criteria

Student entrepreneurs apply to the Early Founders Program by submitting an overview of their business and the business stage. Applicants go through an interview process before final selection to ensure they are an appropriate candidate for the program.

Attend workshops and engage in discussion focused on business development, entrepreneurship, ethical issues, etc.

Engage with the Early Founders team daily through Slack channel and weekly through workshops.

Meet weekly with a mentor for guidance on continued business improvement.

Early Founders finish the program with a final presentation on how their business has grown and changed during the program.
