Earning Criteria

Successfully complete the first level of the Professional Readiness Program (Business 1000, required of all business majors).
Successfully complete the second level of the Professional Readiness Program (Business 2000, required of all business majors).
Completion of the Intercultural Development Inventory® assessment.
Work 1-1 with a Qualified Administrator of the IDI® to develop intercultural competency using a customized Intercultural Development Plan.

The IDC™ describes a set of knowledge/attitude/skill sets or orientations toward cultural difference and commonality that are arrayed along a continuum from the more monocultural mindsets of Denial and Polarization through the transitional orientation of Minimization to the intercultural or global mindsets of Acceptance and Adaptation.
