The Mentoring Academy, sponsored by the Center for Mentoring at the University of Pittsburgh, offers a series of interactive sessions devoted to helping faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students develop skills in eight mentoring competency areas, based upon curriculum developed by the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER). The course is seven contact hours over one to two semesters.
