Earning Criteria

The CPI 260 ® instrument was designed specifically assessing management and leadership potential. This instrument contains 260 items carefully selected from the original California Psychological Inventory assessment to identify an individual’s strengths and areas for development. The CPI 260 instrument is used extensively within organizations for a variety of leadership and development applications as well as high-potential identification.
The CPM program finalizes studies with a capstone project. Participants use curriculum from the program and other studies, to develop a project around their local agency to increase efficiency or save money. The project is worth 75 hours towards the certification, and consists of a 5-20 page paper.
Participants complete several courses including, Emotional Intelligence, Motivation & Deligation, Ethics & Primary Greatness, HR Management, Process Improvement, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, CHange Leadership, Crisis Management, and Leadership in Public Organizations.
Participants present their capstone project at the end of the program to showcase their project to the assessment panel and current class.
