Earning Criteria

The CPM program finalizes studies with a capstone project. Participants use curriculum from the program and other studies, to develop a project around their local agency to increase efficiency or save money. The project is worth 75 hours towards the certification, and consists of a 5-20 page paper.
Standards
The UT Martin Political Science department has recognized the CPM program for 6 hours of credit in their undergraduate degree program.
Completers of this program demostrate these key competencies: Leading People, Managing Work, Developing Self, Systemic Integration, Personal & Organizational Integrity, Public Service Focus, and Change Leadership.
