Earners learn the OSHA Electrical Standards and hazards related to electrical installations and equipment. Topics include single- and three-phase systems, cord- and plug-connected equipment, grounding, GFCIs, and safety-related work practices. Emphasis is on hazard recognition, OSHA Standards, hazard abatement, and procedures. Relevant sections of the National Electrical Code (NEC) are covered. Workshops focus on the safe and proper use of electrical testing equipment.
