Earners learn the role and responsibility of the employer in developing and implementing an energy control or lockout/tagout (LOTO) program. Topics include types of hazardous energy, detecting hazardous conditions, implementing control measures as they relate to controlling hazardous energy, and developing and implementing energy control programs. Students will be able to explain the importance of energy control programs, procedures, training, and audits.
