RAA: Roadrunner Assistantship Academy

The RAA is a week-long intensive program designed for graduate students teaching in the upcoming academic year. These online sessions focus on the skills and resources needed to be a successful student and a successful instructor. During the Academy, students with assistantships will engage in presentations led by teaching and learning professionals from Academic Innovation, learn more about our campus partners and their services, as well as make valuable connections with each other.

Earning Criteria

Must attend the Roadrunner Assistantship Academy and meet the following objectives: 1) identify best practices in community building, communication, and leadership. 2) apply foundational course design principles to various aspects of teaching and learning using the Canvas LMS. 3) create engaging course content using a variety of digital tools and engagement strategies. 4) design application materials that leverage their assistantship experiences and are appropriate for various roles.
