Courses in this series cover topics essential to creating safe and welcoming environments. Students will understand the effects of alcohol and drug misuse, signs of abuse and addiction, and tactics for refusal. They will be able to recognize sexual assault and harassment, healthy and unhealthy relationship practices, and engage in consent-based conversations and bystander intervention. Students will have strategies for self-care, recognizing when they/others are in distress, and finding support.
