Earners have completed three classes that teach basic maintenance and design of a plant space (whether it be garden, yard, lawn, or potted plants) and vocabulary to build confidence and skills through hands-on learning. They understand the basics of design when working with plants, how to choose plants appropriate for different climates and settings, and basic care from soil to light to water. It is the first of three levels of the Lifelong Learning Green Thumb SERIES.
