Completed over 200 hours of classroom instruction covering the fundamentals of user-experience and user-interface design, information architecture, design thinking, quantitative and qualitative research, conducting user surveys and interviews, task-based testing, journey mapping, user scenarios, wireframing, prototyping, mockups, interaction design, making design decisions based on evidence, implementing feedback, and presenting results to stakeholders.

Completion of a group capstone project which provided a design based solution to a real-world problem proposed by a sponsoring individual or organization. The capstone project solution was substantial and required eight weeks of work to complete alongside the project sponsor. Students presented the solution to the project sponsor and a live audience during a demonstration event.

Completion of the career track, consisting of lessons covering job search strategies, networking, LinkedIn profile optimization, design portfolio creation, as well as portfolio defense and behavioral interviewing.
