This course of instruction provides the learner with hands on training on a specific UAS. This includes such things as preflight inspections, flight modes, safety features and maintenance. The student is then introduced to flight by simulator training and begins to develop the psychomotor skills necessary to control the UA in flight. During the final phase of training, the student flies the aircraft and upon completion of training the student will be proficient in basic sUAS flight maneuvers.
