The Center for Global Development (CGD) is a part of the Institute for Economic Development at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). The UTSA CGD helps countries adopt and adapt the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) model and has been the primary technical assistance provider for the Global Small Business Network. Digital credentials are provided to the international SBDC community that fosters a community of practice around global business development. The digital credentials offer meaningful knowledge and recognition to SBDC professionals while maintaining skill standards.
