The earner of this badge is familiar with basic helpdesk systems and management at UW Bothell. Students who have successfully passed the preliminary level have shown that they understand the basics of the UWB IT Helpdesk and are able to be scheduled for Helpdesk 1 and Helpdesk 2 shifts. The level encompasses knowledge areas such as customer service, circulating equipment, basic IT systems such as GLPI, Microsoft Outlook, WebCheckout, and Simple In/Out, and a basic knowledge of UWB IT.
