Quality Assurance and Risk Management (FLG 211)

The course teaches students how quality assurance programs apply to products and equipment. Students learn how to develop and organize a risk management plan for the logistics organization; identify potential problems and the necessary steps to mitigate risk in the stockroom and clinical areas; and the importance of communications with the risk manager, medical director and quality assurance coordinator to ensure a high level of safety for all stakeholders in the environment of care.
