Earners can analyze & critique systems of oppression in order to advance health equity for all people, using techniques from the creative arts, philosophical inquiry, advocacy & community organizing, health policy & legislation & academic research.

Earning Criteria

Complete one of the following 3-credit courses with a letter grade of at least a C: GSWS 201 Introduction to Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies; or, GSWS 205 Introduction to LGBT+ and Queer Studies.

Complete one of the following 3-credit courses with a letter grade of at least a C: GSWS 309 Gender and Global Health; or, GSWS 312/391 Introduction to Health Humanities; or, GSWS 409 LGBTQ Health and Wellness; or, HPEX 351 Issues in Sexuality.
