Earning Criteria

VCU Students must submit the certificate program application. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and students may progress through the program at their own pace.

Complete 3 academic courses in approved sector-aligned subjects; complete 3 approved courses or experiences that bolster intercultural competence; receive professional resume and interview preparation from Career Services, LinkedIn, or an alternative provider; and demonstrate leadership experience in the form of volunteer hours, student organizations or work experience.

Complete 50 hours of hands-on experience in a sector-aligned discipline.
