Earners are VCU undergraduate researchers who presented their mentored research at a campus or professional research conference or symposium. They are able to communicate their research and scholarship to diverse audiences to include their peers, members of the public, and those engaged in their academic discipline(s). They are able to utilize and articulate the language of their discipline(s) while conveying complex concepts in accessible ways.

Earning Criteria

Conduct undergraduate research under the guidance and supervision of a research mentor documented by the VCU Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry.
Apply for and gain acceptance to a campus or professional research conference or symposium.
Present research/scholarship at a campus or professional conference or symposium. Presentations are either oral , lecture, panel or poster presentations.
