Earners have the ability to evaluate and address critical aspects of Serious Mental Illness (SMI). They can identify historical and contemporary treatment strategies, navigate unique challenges in pregnancy, differentiate among cognitive conditions, analyze Indigenous crisis intervention models and recognize genuine versus feigned psychosis. They are equipped to assess SMI in individuals with ID/DD & tailor medication plans to patient-specific needs, supporting more effective, personalized care.

Complete 5 training webinars: 1) History of Serious Mental Illness; is required; and complete at least 4 of the following webinars: 1) Pregnancy and Motherhood with Serious Mental Illness, 2) Serious Mental Illness and Older Adults, 3) Crisis Intervention Training and Indigenous Peoples, 4) What is Malingering Psychosis and how is it treated?, 5) Serious Mental Illness and Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities; or 6) Psychopharmacology and Serious Mental Illness
