They can develop partnerships to build teacher residency programs; infuse culturally responsive & sustaining practices in these partnerships; identify culturally responsive & sustaining mentoring & induction interventions & strategies to develop, support & sustain affinity groups for teachers of color.

Earning Criteria

Attend the 5 session virtual series consisting of 8.75 contact hours. Courses are 1.75 each and include Role of Schools, Districts, IHEs, and Policymakers in Diversifying the Teacher Workforce, Community and School Partnerships (Attracting Teachers of Color), Understanding and Establishing Grow Your Own Programs (Teacher Residency Programs), Deconstructing Culturally Responsive Mentoring and Induction Supports, Beginning Affinity Groups for Teachers of Color.
