Earners are well versed in working with children with neurodevelopmental disabilities and special health care needs, as well as their families and professionals involved in their care. Earners completed the Family Mentorship Experience, clinical observations, and have participated in disability policy activities. They have clinical or work experience with or on behalf of children with developmental disabilities.

Complete application process.

Complete an individualized program based on a combination of clinical and other training experiences for a total of 300 hours. This may include up to 12 class sessions (60 classroom hours) chosen from Seminar I or Seminar II. Trainees complete a Family Mentorship Experience and a Leadership Project and may participate in Va-LEND Interdisciplinary Clinics. Complete at least 30 hours in disability policy-related activities.
