Earning Criteria

Module 1, 2, 3 & 4 – State of Cybersecurity, Regulations, ISO/IEC 27K Series and Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS). Module 5, 6 & 7 – Healthcare Information Security, U.S. Federal Regulations and NIST Standards and Guidance. Module 8, 9 & 10 – U.S. State Regulations, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
The exam validates knowledge and skill sets in information security for the legislations, standards and frameworks delivered in class. The exam comprises two parts, a practical session during which students work together in groups to solve real world problems using the skills learned and a multiple-choice online exam. Students will be divided into groups and given scenarios to solve, including evidence of real world issues such as information security breaches and regulatory noncompliance.
