The earner of this badge will have successfully completed City on a Hill's summer "Introduction to Construction Careers" program, which includes approximately 60 hours of: supervised in-person and online instructional overview of Construction Careers; experience working with construction professionals; exposure to on-the-job-site experiences; and assessment of career awareness and knowledge.

Earning Criteria

Earners have successfully participated in an in-person, immersive & personalized training program, and are able to: describe various trades careers and the pathways available to pursue those careers; articulate personal strengths, affinities, goals, and growth areas; describe and demonstrate appropriate job-site knowledge and behavior related to safety and preparedness; and demonstrate ability to take direction, seek clarification, ask questions, and learn from peers/superiors.
Earner has successfully attended, completed and passed all evaluation criteria (quizzes and other forms of qualitative, quantitative and authentic evidence) as part of a 5-week, 60-hour course provided by Milwaukee's City on a Hill and its industry partners.
