Earning Criteria

Cooking Safety with Cannabis. Attend and participate in 48-hour partner course between CUNY and the American Culinary Federation (ACF). Practice safe cannabis extractions and infusions. Earners of this badge have passed the final exam.
Group project: Earners have completed and presented a collaborative advocacy group project and have demonstrated ability to safely infuse and extract food-and-drink items with cannabis.
Pass the final exam and earn ACF/CUNY Certificate in Culinary Cannabis & Edibles. Exam requires proof of 8 hours of food-sanitation education and covers the biology of the cannabis plant, utilizing terpenes, how to infuse and extract cannabis, how to safely dose, signs of overconsumption, and more.
