The Career & Self-Development skills include meeting with the KCC CompTIA Employment Specialist to develop goals for one's future career, review of one's resume and professional branding on Linkedin.

Complete the CompTIA A+ or Network+ training course through Kingsborough Community College's Strengthening Community College training program. These courses are contain the necessary material to prepare students for the A+ and Network+ exams.

Professional Development - The student will meet with Kingsborough's CompTIA Employment Specialist to review their resume, discuss career interests and opportunities and assist with their job search.

Professional Branding - The student will attend the LinkedIn workshop organized by the CompTIA Employment Specialist at Kingsborough Community College. The student will create a LinkedIn profile and learn how to market their skills and experience, leverage LinkedIn groups and search for jobs.
