Coaching for High Performance CPD

Awarded to educators who have successfully completed the Coaching for High Performance CPD programme through the WorldSkills UK Learning Lab. The CPD draws on approaches used by coaches and educators across high performance domains to build on existing skills and supercharge their approach to teaching and training. The CPD is designed in partnership with Grey Matters.

Educators develop coaching and mentoring approaches designed to support learners to become more reflective, resilient, and innovative in achieving their own goals and targets.
Educators reflect on your own teaching practice and identify opportunities to be more impactful across a wider range of learners.
Educators recognise how to apply the principles of the Psychological Characteristics of Developing Excellence (PCDE) to inspire and motivate learners to achieve their potential.
Educators are introduced to the practices adopted by Training Managers developing a Squad of young people who represent UK on a global stage at the biennial skills olympics.
