Earners of this badge will be able to describe the Tele-service, Bearer Service and Intrinsic Service capabilities of the DMO Air Interface. They will have an understanding of the range of Direct Mode equipment types available including Repeaters, Gateways and Repeater Gateways. They will also have an appreciation of a range of call procedures and processes including Presence Check, Pre-emption, Reservation and Changeover, and the constraints of the DMO Air Interface TDMA frame structure.
