Holders of this badge will have a comprehensive understanding of the technologies associated with small cells. Holders will be able to describe the role small cells play in 3G, 4G and 5G networks. They will also be able to describe the architecture, interfaces and options for connecting small cell base stations to a mobile network. Additionally, badge holders will be able to describe the importance of Self Organizing Networks (SON) to manage small cells within a mobile network.
