To be able to assess the performance of GPRS to carry ETCS signalling a detailed understanding of the GPRS Air Interface is required. Badge holders will have demonstrated that level of understanding and be able to describe the use of GPRS logical channels, GPRS signalling capacity, resource allocation mechanisms as well as GPRS power control.
