This workshop introduces participants to the elements and advantages of Bayesian analysis, including an introduction to probability from a Bayesian perspective (e.g., Bayes theorem), priors/posteriors, model fitting and diagnostics, Bayes factors, etc. Participants are also introduced to the implementation of Bayesian analysis for popular statistical models (e.g., mean comparisons, multiple regression), including conducting Bayesian analysis within R.
