Earners of the UTP badge have been introduced to the foundational concepts and terminology around The Zurich Way of Underwriting. UTP is designed for trainees new to insurance underwriting and blends individual completion of the Underwriting@Zurich on-demand curriculum with live interactive sessions designed to debrief and reinforce the curriculum. UTP is cohort based, providing trainees opportunities to network and build relationships within Zurich.

UTP is cohort based and lasts four weeks for the core curriculum, then sub-cohorts form to address content specific to line of business. Sub-cohort duration varies (typically 3-9 weeks) depending on line of business. Participants must attend all live sessions.
