The mission of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO) is to provide professional development, guidelines and voluntary standards to be used by higher education officials regarding the best practices in records management, admissions, enrollment management, administrative information technology and student services.

This AACRAO collection includes content that supports the AACRAO International Professional Proficiency: Assessing Prior International Education at the entry level. Learners at the entry level have the ability to assess education system patterns and evaluate international educational records for recognition, admission and placement based on standard methodologies, as well as understand how to locate and evaluate resources and validate the authenticity of records.
